Add a leadership role to your resume
Why apply for a position on UPPSA's executive board? As a student leader, you'll learn a lot — and have fun while doing it. UPPSA board members work in a team to organize social events, volunteer outings, professional development activities, and the annual Urban Innovation Symposium. You'll get a chance to develop important skills such as collaboration, organization, event planning, budget management, and lots more.

As a board member, you'll have opportunities to connect with alumni and professionals, and also have an awesome new experience to add to your resume. More than anything else, being on the UPPSA board is a chance to give back to the MUPP community, make graduate school a bit more fun, and make great friends along the way.
