ON THE DAY OF COMMENCEMENT BE PRESENT AND DRESSED BY 9:40 A.M.
All degree candidates and CUPPA faculty must be present, dressed in academic regalia, and ready to assemble for the processional by 9:40 a.m. on Monday, May 14th. Dressing areas at the UIC Forum will open at 9:00 a.m. Enter through the main entrance.

CAPS AND GOWNS
Academic regalia will be available for purchase at the Student Center East Bookstore beginning in mid-April.
Graduates: We have a small stock of donated caps and gowns!
Email UPPSAinfo@gmail.com with your name, UIN, phone number, and height to claim a cap/gown.
The gown sizes we have are:
5'1" - 5'3" (2)
5'4" - 5'6" (2)
5'7" - 5'9" (1)
5'8" - 5'10" (1)
5'9" - 5'11" (2)
5'10'' - 6'0" (3)
6'0" - 6'2" (2)
If you plan to attend this year's commencement, you MUST get a cap, gown, hood, and tassel. These are available for purchase at the UIC Bookstore in Student Center East.
If you get a donated cap/gown, you must still purchase a tassel and hood from the bookstore. The hood and tassel color for CUPPA is peacock blue. If you borrow a cap and gown, you will be expected to donate it back to CUPPA for next year's commencement.
Purchasing Your Own Cap, Gown, Hood and/or Tassel:
If you're eligible to attend this year's commencement ceremony and plan to attend, go here for instructions on how to purchase a cap and gown. You **must** purchase a cap and gown before the event. When purchasing a master's gown, be sure to clearly convey your degree title to Bookstore staff.
MPA and MUPP candidates and graduates should receive a hood, cap, gown, and tassel.
Bachelor candidates should receive a blue cap, blue gown, and white tassel.
PhD candidates wear the same color regalia, regardless of major.
Caps and gowns will go on sale at the UIC Bookstore in mid-April. See https://www.uicbookstore.org for hours of operation.
ALUMNI: If you have a cap/gown to donate, please email email@example.com and we will organize a time to pick it up.
